My first lock was found hanging on the toilet door of the lodge at Namche Bazar during the Everest trek back in 1988.​
It was broken. One of the Nepali villagers directed me to a blacksmith outside the village who repaired it using traditional methods.​
Since then I have been collecting old locks during my journeys all over far east Asia and the world.​
I am Eran Landau from Israel.​
